|Valentine Derrey at Golf Resort Tále|
Valentine Derrey of France and Klara Spilkova from the Czech Republic held a share of the lead on five-under-par after a breezy second morning in the Low Tatras Mountains on Friday.
The pair fired respective rounds of 70 and 68 on the Gray Bear course at Golf Resort Tále and posted the clubhouse target at five-under-par.
Derrey reached eight under after 14 holes but dropped a shot on the treacherous sixth before taking a double bogey at the eighth. She scrambled a par on the ninth, her last hole, after her second shot bounced over the back of the green and her chip rolled up the green and back down the slope.
Spilkova, however had a slower start with a level par front nine but picked up four birdies on the back nine as the wind speeds increased around midday.
The second round began in blazing sunshine but the green speeds quickened in the cool, cloudy and breezy conditions by late morning and the sun had reappeared by mid-afternoon.
