(Scarperia, Italy May 17 2003) Karen Lunn and Anne-Marie Knight from Australia take a one shot lead heading into the final round of the £125,000 La Perla Italian Open at Poggio dei Medici GC in Tuscany.

Lunn ended her day mightily frustrated after an exceptional performance from tee to green, hitting 17 of 18 greens in regulation and reaching two of the long par fives in two shots, only to suffer with 33 putts for the day.
“It was so annoying at times, but there’s no damage done and I just hope I can get the flat stick going tomorrow,” said Lunn, who led going into the final round here last year and has not won for six years.
Knight, who last tasted victory in 1999 admitted to feeling comfortable as she rattled in six birdies in her round, but is in little doubt that the chasing pack will be ready to pounce if the leaders slip up tomorrow.
