In 2015, Maria played in 6 LET tournaments with her best finish of the season secured at the Helsingborg Open where she finished T6. She finished the season in 24th position in the Order of Merit, winning €64,716.24.
In 2013, Maria played in 4 LET events with a season-best T13 at The Helsingborg Open. She ended the season ranked 110th on the Order of Merit.
In 2012, Maria played 4 LET events and made 2 cuts with a season-best tie for 15th at the Lacoste Ladies Open de France. On the LPGA, played 20 events, 12 cuts made, $98,971 (79). Best finish was a tie for ninth at the Kingsmill Championship.
In 2010, played three events on the LET with a season-best tie for 12th at the AIB Ladies Irish Open. Played 21 events on the LPGA, best finish was a tie for third at the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia.
In 2009, after the birth of her first child, Maria qualified for her fourth European Solheim Cup Team; she played four events on the Ladies European Tour and her best finish was third at the season-ending Omega Dubai Ladies Masters. She finished 14th on the Henderson Money List with season’s earnings of €96,174.28. On the US LPGA Tour, her best finish was a tie for second at the Hana Bank – KOLON Championship. She also tied for fifth at the CVS/pharmacy LPGA Challenge and tied for sixth at the Navistar LPGA Classic Presented by Monac R.V. Represented Europe at The Solheim Cup for the fourth time.
In 2008, best finish was runner-up at the McDonald’s LPGA Championship Presented by Coca-Cola, where she lost a four-hole, sudden-death playoff to Yani Tseng and crossed the $4 million mark in career earnings; In 2009, qualified for her fourth European Solheim Cup Team; best finish was a tie for second at the Hana Bank – KOLON Championship on LPGA.
In 2007, won the 2007 Navistar LPGA Classic.
In 2005, successfully defended her Ladies English Open title, again at Chart Hills GC in Kent, in 2005. Represented Europe in The 2005 Solheim Cup at Crooked Stick GC, Indiana, USA. Represented Europe again in The 2007 Solheim Cup at Halmstad Golfklubb in Sweden. Won third LPGA title at the 2007 Navistar LPGA Classic.
In 2004, won her maiden LET title in style at the Ladies English Open when she fired 19-under over three days at Nick Faldo’s Chart Hills GC in Kent. Broke the €1million barrier in career earnings.
In 1999, secured maiden LPGA victory in 1999 SAFECO Classic. Also won 1999 Mizuno Classic.
