Team Europe aiming for 3 in a row!

 

After the historic first win on American soil in 2013 and the second European win in a row, the European team will not only get the chance to defend The Solheim Cup in Germany but it could also set a new record of three consecutive wins.

The team matchplay competition taking place every two years alternately on golf courses in Europe and the USA. Both teams consist of 12 players each, which have qualified or have been selected by their captains.

 

Event Format:

The event is played over three days and 28 matches are played in total, as follows:

 

  • Day One –  eight foursome matches

  • Day Two – eight four ball matches

  • Day Three – 12 single matches
