In line with the dynamic ‘More than a Tour” marketing strategy, the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open marks another innovation from the LET, being the first tournament on any major golf tour to be played from Sunday to Wednesday.
With increasing TV exposure a key element of the LET plans to grow the tour, this move has been welcomed by broadcasters and commercial partners as a fantastic opportunity to showcase the tour to new audiences.
To raise awareness of the new tournament schedule the LET and its players are supporting through a special social media campaign – #LETwednesday #LOVEwednesday.
Wednesday isn’t usually an exciting day, but next week it will be! Throughout the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open LET players will be supporting the campaign by using the hashtags #LETwednesday and #LOVEwednesday to tweet what they love about Wednesday and the final round of LET tournaments.
Fans of the LET can also get involved and support the tour by tweeting and posting the same!
