In 2017, on 30th April, the Ladies European Tour lost a Member of its golfing family when Cassandra lost her two-year fight against lung cancer at the age of 32. She had led a healthy lifestyle and never smoked. She battled the disease courageously with a positive spirit, supporting golf right until the end.
In 2016, Cassandra continued to fight cancer but returned to play in one LET tournament, the Lalla Meryem Cup in Morocco.
In 2015, Cassandra played in the Lalla Meryem Cup in Morocco, before receiving a devastating cancer diagnosis.
In 2014, Cassandra played a full season on the LET. She also won the Coupe de France Pro.
In 2013, Cassandra played in 15 tournaments with a best season result tied for 21st at the ISPS Handa Ladies European Masters and ended the season ranked 100th on the LET Money List. On the LET Access Series, she won the Generali Fourqueux Ladies Open in France.
In 2012, Cassandra ended a six year wait for her first professional title when she came from a stroke behind to claim the Sanya Ladies Open in China. The 28-year-old posted a final round 70 at Yalong Bay Golf Club in hot and breezy conditions to end two strokes clear of fellow Frenchwoman Jade Schaeffer and England’s Holly Aitchison. From 16 events played, she posted one other top 10: T10th at the Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open. Season’s earnings: €58,523.52 (51).
In 2011, recorded three top-10 finishes on the LET. Tied for 9th at the Raiffeisenbank Prague Masters; tied for 10th at the New Zealand Women’s Open and also at the Hero Women’s Indian Open. Finished 57th on the Money List with earnings of €42,392.19 from 20 tournaments.
In 2010, recorded a career best finish of 5th at the Hero Honda Indian Women’s Open at DLF Golf and Country Club, New Delhi.
Played in 17 tournaments and finished 64th on the Henderson Money List with season’s earnings of €33,290.79.
In 2009, Cassandra competed in 12 events with a season best finish of equal 27th at the S4/C Wales Ladies Championship at Royal St. David’s. Upon her return to Final Qualifying School at La Manga Club she triumphed in a five-way play-off, taking the final and 30th full card available.
